Lisa Kay Fisher went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 16, 2025.
Lisa will be remembered for her unwavering love of Jesus, her desire to know and study God’s word, and her feistiness even in her final moments.
Lisa is survived by her daughters Nikki Virley (Hendric Virley), Colleen Carnell (Dennis Carnell), grandchildren Derek Virley, Amber Virley, and Victoria Mann (James Mann) and great grandchildren Patrick Virley, Elijah Peterson and Braylen Hall-Virley. Brothers Joseph Bernard VanFleet and Dennis VanFleet (Tara VanFleet), brother-in-law Dan Hollenbough, niece Robin Miller (Ron Miller) and many friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Hazel VanFleet, sisters Carol Hollenbough, Shirley Clark, and Karen VanFleet, sister-in-law Cynthia VanFleet, and dear friends Judith Bordeaux and Judith Lechman.
Thank you to the many nurses, aids and all those who have been in mom’s care.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, with a funeral service following at 5 p.m. at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 W. Hill Road, Flint, MI. 48507.
