Richards, Chiquita Ventrice (Stinnett) - Age 79, of Flint, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 2-5PM Sunday, August 2 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Diabetes Association. Chiquita was born January 9, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Ralph and Lois (Nelson) Stinnett. She married George Richards in 1961 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Chiquita enjoyed painting, shopping, music and dancing. She loved the holidays and spending time with her family especially the great grandchildren. Chiquita retired from General Motors Buick City after 25 years of service. She is survived by her children, Randy (Robin) Richards of CA., Kim (Brian) Sturgill of Flint, Leslie (Pete) Iransco of Flushing; grandchildren, Anthony (her little Ton Ton), Clifford, Sara, Brent (Dena), Robert (Tiffani) Urmanic, Brandon Kettler, Brian Sturgill Jr.; great grandchildren, Anthony and Alex Nelson, Dylan Valdez, Alexis Jerke, Emily, Miley, Chase, Landon, Liam, Max and Zachary Urmanic; also survived by her brother, George Stinnett; sister, Cindy (Mike) Slater; nieces and nephews, Deidre (Michael) Medcoff, Craig Stinnett, Derek Slater, Sarah Slater; great niece, Christina (Karon) Baker, Andrew Takemoto, Jayce Slater; sister in law, Margie Stinnett. Chiquita was preceded in death by her husband, George Richards; daughter, Charlene Urmanic; parents, Ralph and Lois Stinnett. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and doctors who provided her care during her final time at Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc.
