PRUSAC, Stojan - Of Flint, age 85, died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at McLaren-Flint surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2143 S. Center Road, Burton,
Father Matthew-Peter Butrie officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Pomen/Parastas Service will be held 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Tuesday at church until the time of the service.
Stojan was born in Glina, Yugoslavia on February 20, 1937, the son of the late Luka and Mara Prusac. Stojan married Mira Bulet in 1957. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church and St. Steven Orthodox Church in Warren, MI. Stojan retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 38 years of service and was a member of UAW Local #598. He enjoyed spending time with his family, vacationing and being with his grandchildren.
Surviving are loving wife of 65 years, Mira;
Children, John Prusac and Danny Prusac;
Grandchildren, Kris (Dawn) Prusac, Alexis (Mark) Liley, Samantha (Zack) Mihalchick, Matthew Prusac, Nicholas Prusac, Danny Prusac, Stojan Prusac and Luka Prusac;
Great-grandchildren, Jamison, Danny, Degon, Dash, Aaron and Elliott;
Sister, Ljuba (Nicholas) Kumljenovic.
He was preceded in death by his son, Luka and brother, Ljubomir and sister, Milka.
