Bachman, Daniel Herman “Dan” – age 74, passed away at Angel manor in Clio, MI on Saturday, June 26, 2021, with his wife, Penny at his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of His Life will be held at 12PM, on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at Noon. His final resting place will be Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dans name to the Angel Manor at 9219 Elms Road, Clio, MI 48420.
Dan was born on July 15, 1946, in Flint, to the late Herman and Ilene Bachman. He proudly served in the US Army from 1966 – 1967 serving most of the time in Germany. He was employed at GM Buick from 1965- 2005, as a production worker, salary per diem, and an inspector checking gears for transmissions. Daniel married Penny in 1984 and raised three children during their 37-year marriage. He was a hardworking man and loving husband and father. Dan’s favorite pastimes were participating in local car shows where he proudly drove his 1953 Ford F-150, watching every Tigers game, and woodworking. Above all, there was nothing he enjoyed more than family time.
Dan is survived by his wife, Penny; Sons: Robert (Jennifer) Adams, Jason (Holly) Adams; Daughter, Angie (Johnny) Hines all of Clio; Seven grandchildren: Lindsay (Nicholas) Adams, Corey (Deena) Adams, Ashlee Adams, Blaine (Lexi) Adams (Serving in the US Navy in Guam), Arika Hines, Colten Hines, Casen Hines; one great-grandchild, Nicholas Weycker the 4th; Good friends, Earlynn Frye and Jim and Mary Weeden.
