WILLIAMS, Ruth L. - Of Flint, age 94, died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Raymond Cocke officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 11a.m.-2p.m. and 5-8p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Ruth was born in Flint on June 3, 1917. On June 3, 1938, Ruth married Harold Williams in Angola, IN. She was a member of Shawn Baptist Church and West Court Street Church of God. Surviving are children, Nancy and husband Dan Smiley of Swartz Creek, Frank and wife Pam Williams of MO, Robin and husband Vern Caldwell of Flint, Sally and husband David Bohunicki of Flint; Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister, Grace Lawson of Flint; Many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Harold William, son, George, 2 grandchildren, Roxanne and Vern Jr. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
