George William Latreille, 85, of Roscommon, MI (formally of Grand Blanc, MI) passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
George was born in Flint, MI on March 19, 1929, a son of the late Edna (Damm) and James Henry Latreille.
He married the former Barbara Lee Ruff on May 12, 1972 in Grand Blanc, was the owner of 14 Latreille Dry Cleaners for Flint and surrounding area for over 45 years. George was an entrepreneur in other businesses, was previously a Rotarian and is a member of the Houghton Lake Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife Barbara of 42 years, Children: James Henry Latreille of Florida William George (Gayle) Latreille of Fenton Celeste (Steven) Dunkelberg of Grand Rapids Paul (Kim) Latreille of Sault Ste. Marie.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and sister: Delores Terhaar, of Connecticut.
Preceded in death by parents, 1st wife Olga Horvath and his brother James.
Visitation will be held at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 between 2:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Houghton Lake Baptist Church, Houghton Lake, MI, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 15th, 2015 with Rev. Stephen Milan officiating. Luncheon will follow the service.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
