RICH, Donald Lee – of Davison, age 68, was called home on November 12, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, November 17, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial with Military Honors will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday and 12 PM until the time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make a Wish Foundation or Gift of Life.
Donald was born in Flint, MI on December 21, 1945, son of the late Roscoe and Lilah (Bradley) Rich. He attended Flint Southwestern and married Rosemary Wetherwax on September 1, 1967 in Davison, MI. Donald worked as a Screw Machine Operator at AC Spark Plug in Flint for 32 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Marines from 1966-1969. Donald was a member of Community Christ Church, VFW of Davison, Eagles of Davison, UAW # 651, United Way, and Mt. Morris Jaycees. He enjoyed fishing, camping, deer hunting, woodworking, computer games in his later years, farming, gardening and Nascar.
Donald is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children Craig (Christine), Donald Jr. (Michelle); grandchildren, Asheley, Daniel, Lindsay, Timothy, Macey, Amanda and Alicia Kushba; great grandson, Jaxen Lee; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Rich; sister, Shiela Holleman.
