MILLER, Gary Lee - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021. Funeral service will take place 1 PM, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1025 Main St, Fenton. Pastor Dean Dumbrille will officiate. Interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will take place from 10 AM until the time of service at church on Monday. Arrangements were provided by Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Gary was born on September 28, 1938 in Ferndale the son of Emil and Mildred (Meehleder) Miller. After Gary finished school he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country until he retired as a Lieutenant. He and Patricia Turner were united in marriage on May 29, 1976. Gary work several years as a supervisor for PPG Industries in Flint. He loved spending time with his family and was always Mr. Fix It. Gary was involved with the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton and helping Pastor Dean.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; 3 children, Brian (Karen) Kane, Timothy Miller and Julie (Joseph) Chavez; 8 grandchildren, Tori, Mitchell, Dalton, Joey, Patricia, Christopher, Jennifer and Jacob; 2 great-grandchildren, Brianna and Joseph; 2 sisters, Joan Costa and Nancy (Bill) Brooke; and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Mildred Miller; brother, Bruce Miller; and sister, Sue Kimmet. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
