ROBINSON, Max Leroy – of Burton, age 79, passed away April 22, 2016 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Dan Louman officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Tuesday.
Max was born in Flint, MI on May 30, 1936, son of the late Leonard and Rose (Clark) Robinson. He married Norma Hudson on October 6, 1990. Max retired from GM Truck Plant after 36 years of service. He loved his dog Zoey. Max enjoyed bowling, hockey, his antique 1967 Buick, watching old movies and woodworking.
Max is survived by his wife, Norma Robinson; children, Mark (Judi) Robinson, Susan (Gary) Hope, Jill (Bradley) Tucker and Terri (Randy) Siple; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard “LJ”, Richard “Rick”, George “Buster”, Norman; step-sons, Rod and Shawn Hudson.
