TEREAU, Thelma Theresa (Foy) – of Flint, MI, age 88, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, G–5199 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in St. John Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-8 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 and 11 AM-8 PM Friday, August 3, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Friday, August 3, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the North End Soup Kitchen, in Thelma’s memory.
Thelma was born in Flint, MI on February 14, 1930, daughter of the late Howard and Neva (Mills) Foy. She married Fred Tereau on August 30, 1952 and he preceded her in death on January 27, 1999. Thelma was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Thelma is survived by 7 children, Laura Gingerich, Fred (Barb) Tereau, Barbara Ann Tereau, Ruth (Clay) Smith, Ellen (fiancé, Tracy Pemberton) Tereau, Phillip (Suzy) Tereau and Lisa (Chuck) Brunell; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bob (Verda) Foy and Ed (Joyce) Foy; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by sister, Mary Louise Brockman and brother, Gerald Foy.
