Barroso, Ricardo of Flushing, age 63, died Thursday, November 4, 2021, at McLaren-Flint. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Saturday at the church until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Ricardo was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1958, the son of Enrique Miguel and Rafaela (Lopez) Barroso. He worked in the IT department for Comerica Bank for many years. Ricardo was an active and faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Legion of Mary at the church where he was currently serving as President. Ricardo was enjoying learning how to play the guitaron in the mariachi group, Ballet Folclorico Estudiantil.
He is survived by his daughter, Monica and husband Sam; siblings, Maria Guadalupe and husband Travis, Enrique II and wife Nanette, Laura, Joseph and wife Deicy, Cristina; many nieces, nephews, beloved family and close friends.
