WALTERS, Lynn Daniel, age 79 of Fenton, passed away June 1, 2023 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church located at 600 N. Adelaide Street, Fenton, Michigan. Burial will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Guests are invited to join the family for a memorial luncheon at the St. John Activity Center immediately following the graveside service. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan and from 10:00 AM Saturday, until the time of service, at the church. A rosary will be offered at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lynn to the Kailey Elizabeth Jordan Memorial Fund.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia. Children, Lynn Canning of Pickney; Laura (Steve) Koch of Fenton; and Nicole (William) Stiff of Grand Blanc. Grandchildren, Monica (Andrew) Hubbert; Danny (Emoni) Jordan; Anais Cervantes; Ainsley (Michael) Starkel; Evan Koch; and Ella Koch. Great-grandchildren, Jax; Jayce; Emmery; Lucy; and Rivers. Siblings, Linda (Gayle) Marlowe; Nancy Flutie; and David Walter. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Lynn was born on June 3, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Wendel C, and Evelyn Grace (Vance) Walter. He married Patricia Bradford on November 3, 1962 in Rochester, Michigan and worked as a truck driver in addition to serving as a past Union Steward and Member of Teamsters Local in Pontiac. Lynn was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #7418, Assembly #2031 and the Moose Lodge - Holly #N68. He was active in the Bass Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, carpentry, bowling, and working the church Bingo as a hobby. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Mr. Walters was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Kailey E. Jordan; and brother, Glen Walter.
