HODGE, Jean L. - Of Grand Blanc Township, age 84, died Friday, December 4, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Jean was born in on May 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Erbin and Elenora (Miller) Harris.
In 1953 she married Bobby C. Hodge and he passed away in 2004.
She enjoyed garage sales, cooking, gambling, traveling and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Monnie (Susan) Hodge, Kelly (Chris) Pray and Bobby (Colleen) Hodge;
grandchildren, Lindsey Goris, Whitney Simonetti, Courtney Hodge, Chrystal Pray, Natalie Hodge, Ashley Hodge, Krystal Bartis, Angela Hodge and Bobby Hodge III;
11 great-grandchildren;
siblings, Katie, Lizzie and Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby; grandson, Michael Pray; siblings, Sonny, Tony, Willy, JoAn and Phil.
