GOIN, Clyde Ray - Age 92, of Fenton, passed away, November 29, 2020. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Fenton United Methodist Church 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, and at the church Saturday at 12 PM until the time of service. Entombment in Tyrone Memory Gardens Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church.
Clyde was born December 27, 1927 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of John Clinton and Laura Orpha (Huson) Goin. He married Patricia Ann Elrich in Fenton, July 23, 1955. Clyde proudly served in the US Navy 1946-1947 as an Electrician 3rd Class. He later was employed for 36 years as a Service-Repair and Maintenance Technician with Westinghouse Elevator Co.. Clyde was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church for many years. He especially loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing cards, "Corn Hole", and tinkering in his garage. He also was an avid Light House collector.
Clyde is survived by: his Wife of 65 years, Patricia; Children, Michael R. (Rhonda) Goin, James L. (Sharon) Goin, Deborah (Terry) Robbins; Grandchildren, Steven (Cassie) Goin, Dustin Goin, Nicole Goin, Crystal Goin, Jordan (Brittany) Goin, Jennifer (Brandon) Wilhelmi, Jessica Robbins, Chris Balderrama, Stacey (Dave) Bothe; Great-grandchildren, Allie, Chelsea, Blake, Brooklyn, Kennedy, Jaxton, Maverick, Everlee, Hannah, Katie, Alex, Cameron, Joey, Isabella and Mason; and several nieces and nephews.
Clyde was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters; one brother. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
