Ronald Steven Thibeault, age 75, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara; sons: Mark (Jennifer), Ben, and Phillip; step-son, Andrew Merritt; grandchildren: Selena Merritt, Adam Merritt, and Kaley Merritt; brothers: Joe (Lana), Dan (Trisha), Tom (Margaret), and Terry; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parent, Joseph and Joanna; grandson, Benjamin; step-son, Christopher Merritt; and sister, Joyce.
Ron served his country with the US Army. He retired from General Motors after many years of loyal service, attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montrose and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ron loved everything to do with the outdoors: riding his Harley, boating, fishing, hunting, and the annual family canoe trip down the Muskegon River. He was a skilled carpenter and was always there to help family and friends.
The family asks that you share your stories of remembrance from 3:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd, Grand Blanc. Knights of Columbus service at 6:30 pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, November 2 at the above location. Interment following at Crestwood Cemetery.
