FOREMAN, Verna “Tillie” – of Flint, age 82, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Genesys – Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 12 NOON Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 E. Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 1-6 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Verna was born in Flint, MI on January 23, 1933, daughter of the late Cecil and Lily (Russel) Herriman. She married Robert Foreman on August 16, 1967 in Flint. Robert preceded her in death January 1995. A dedicated mother, Tillie loved taking care of her family and home. She was an amazing mom, wife and friend. Verna was a teller of truth and was full of spark and spice. Tillie was the queen of quips and one-liners and used them often to make people laugh.
Verna is survived by her children; Richard “Mark” LaLonde, Robin (Denny) Dear; grandchildren, Symantha and Cheyenne; oodles of nieces and nephews whose love she held deep within her heart. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil, Bob, Chuck, Don, Vern and Ken Herriman; best friend and partner in crime, Bobbie Herriman.
