REDING, Sarah (Mitchell) - Of Swartz Creek, age 70, died Sunday, May 2, 2021 at McLaren-Flint.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Visitation 11am-1pm Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the funeral home.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Sarah was born in Goodrich, Michigan on July 20, 1950, the daughter of the late James and Onalee (Saxton) Mitchell. On April 27, 1974, she married Edward D. Reding in Hadley, Michigan. Sarah loved to cook. She worked at McLaren and Wallys when she was younger. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting and bowling. Sarah enjoyed being outdoors planting flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed music, especially country music. Sarah was a devoted mother.
Surviving are daughters, Sarah Christine Reding and Bethany (Jeremy) Domanik;
grandchildren, Patrick (Mariana Lopez), Aliya and Sean Poole, Andrew Domanik, Madison and Miles Popilek;
great-grandson, Carmelo Poole;
siblings, David Mitchell, Wilma Brown, Linda (Robert) Andrew and James (Patti) Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Edward.
