GERARD, Patricia Ann - Of Flint, age 82, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, January 3, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Paul Sedlock Memorial Fund at Durand High School or Loaves and Fishes Food Bank of Shiawassee County.
Visitation 1-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Patricia was born in Flint on January 12, 1931 and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She married Carl Gerard on August 23, 1947 in Pine Run, Michigan and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2002. She was a member of VFW Post #3087 Auxiliary. She attended Baring Cross Southern Baptist Church. She loved fishing, Euchre, feeding the wild birds and country music.
Surviving are daughters, Linda Sue and husband John Sedlock and Annette Kay and husband Russell Sorensen;
special friend, Bill Wise;
8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren;
4 sisters; 1 brother;
many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Paul Sedlock; mother, Kathleen Morris, father, Robert Bennett and brother, Leo Fletcher.
