SPARKS, Daniel Lee - age 53, passed away August 8, 2023. Private funeral services will be held with burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Daniel was born April 21, 1970 in Flint, the son of Kenneth Lyle Sparks, Jr. and Carolyn Jean (Peters) Sparks. He has worked for General Motors for 27 years. He had a passion for horse harness racing, loved playing cards and was a Christian. Surviving are: three children, Kristin (Joe) Hernandez, Justin Sparks, and Dylan Sparks; grandchild, Mason Sparks; parents, Kenneth and Carolyn Sparks; brother, Darwyn (Michelle) Sparks; sister, Kimberly Verkennes; aunt, Lonnie Tabit; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
