Zachary Earl Kischnick of Frankenmuth, age 18, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 peacefully in his sleep at his home. Zachary was born February 21, 1995 at a mighty 1lb 15oz, and he was a fighter from the moment he was born. Zachary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved spending time with his dad at the farm supervising farm activities, talking on the phone, and asking hundreds of questions. Zachary enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and wheelchair basketball. Zachary had a special bond with Grandpa Ron his entire life spending countless hours together in pure joy.
Funeral service will be celebrated 10am Saturday, January 11, 2014 at St. Lorenz 1030 W Tuscola Road Frankenmuth Pastor Bender officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Special Needs Trust for Zachary’s twin sister Elizabeth Kischnick. Visitation 11-8pm Friday, January 10 at Cederberg Funeral Home 590 N Franklin Street Frankenmuth. Zachary will be at the church Saturday 9am until the time of the service.
Left to cherish Zachary’s memory are parents, Earl and Karolynn Kischnick, twin sister Elizabeth, brother Mitchell and sister Madison; grandfathers, Ronald Williams and Earl Kischnick; aunts and uncles, Jeff (Tracy) Williams, Amy (Mark) Schofield, Janice (Randy) Trinklein, Merle Kischnick, Evelyn Bergin, Evonne Kischnick; several cousins, especially, Cory, Morgan, Randon, Ellery and Kendall; special caregiver Cameo (Camo) Storey; special teacher Candy Ahrens and the staff at Millet Learning Center; special friends Flame Meisel and Kate Stark and the Special Kids in Action of Frankenmuth group.
Zachary was preceded in death by grandmothers Edna Kischnick and Shirley Williams.
