NICHOLSON, Donald Kaye – of Davison, MI, age 88, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Victory Baptist Church of Burton, 2378 North Center Road, Burton, MI 48509; Pastor Andy Auclair officiating. Interment with Military Honors will take place immediately following the service at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitors will be received from 11 AM until the time of service at Victory Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church of Burton, in Don’s memory.
Don was born in Flint on December 19, 1937, son of the late James and Virginia (Snook) Nicholson. He married Judith Brown; she preceded him in death. Don retired after many years of service from AC Spark Plug. He was a hard worker until the end; Don could always be found working on projects. Most importantly, Don was a man of faith. He was an active member at Richfield Road Baptist church and then at Victory Baptist Church of Burton. Don was a wonderful steward of the gifts he was given, always sharing those talents with others.
Don is survived by a son, Richard Nicholson; many other extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, Don was preceded in death by his infant son, Donald Lynn Nicholson; son, Gary Nicholson.
