She later married Robert H. Geurink on May 26, 1990 in Blue Grass, Iowa. She was a graduate of ICA in 1953 and received her Bachelors from Marycrest College. Sharon was very artistic, and her home looked at times like a crafts store. She could literally do it all out of both necessity and pleasure. She loved to sew, crochet, do woodwork, make clothing and jewelry and was a wonderful cook. Sharon had a great passion for volunteering. She taught arts and crafts at day camps in Buffalo and helped to teach migrant workers from Mexico, English. Sharon also enjoyed swimming, camping, ballroom dancing and square dancing. Her children remember their mother as being a detective when they were younger; she always had a keen sense when they were raising Cain.
Memorials may be made to the Quad-City Chapter of the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert, her children Cherie DuFault, Moline, IL, Michael (Diane) DuFault, Rock Island, IL, Kathleen (Chris) Buesing, Davenport, John Christopher (Sondra) DuFault, Orlando, FL, Lynne Ricketts, Blue Grass, Diane Whipps, Zion, IL; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren with 3 on the way; and a sister, Joy Hoffman, Arlington, VA.

Shorey, and her first husband LeRoy DuFault. Online remembrances and condolences may be expressed by visiting Sharon’s obituary at www.hmdfuneralhome.com
