DUES, Laura Mae. - of Flint, age 69, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center of Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1PM until 6PM and Thursday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richfield Bowl of Flint.
Laura was born June 21, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to the late William and Grace (Stinson) Williams. She married Norman L. Dues October 6, 1973 at Pine Run Church of Christ. Laura was employed with Cannon Jewelers in Flint for 10 years. She was a member of the Blue Jay Flyers Bowling League. Laura enjoyed bowling, camping, and collecting owl figurines. She had a heart of gold and was a caregiver to everyone.
Surviving are: Husband of 44 years, Norman Dues of Flint; Son, Mark Dues of Genesee Twp.; Grandson, Cameron Dues of Genesee Twp.; Brother, Gerald Williams of Hudson, Florida. Laura was also preceded in death by her step father, Clarence Marshall; Brothers: David B. Williams, Thomas Williams, Richard Williams, and Danny Williams.
