LIMBAN, Carolyn M. - Of Swartz Creek, age 92, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Charter Senior Living.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Swartz Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn requests you take a friend to lunch. If you would like to make a donation to a charity in her memory, please consider the Alzheimer’s Association or the Genesee County Humane Society.
Carolyn was born in Bay City, Michigan on June 16, 1934 and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She married Frank B. Limban on June 26, 1954 in Flint and spent 59 years navigating the adventure of marriage. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2013. Carolyn retired from Mott Children Health Center as an Aide were she developed many long-term friendships. Carolyn was a charter member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Her faith was an important part of her life. If you knew Carolyn, know that a Rosary was said for you. Carolyn loved her three sons and Greg Hodge, who she considered her fourth. She was a great Mom!
Surviving are sons, Frank-Elizabeth, Douglas-Annette, and Ralph-Sharon;
grandchildren, Daniel-Missy, Zachary-Adrianna, Trent-Jess, Adam-Kristen, Sarah-Vinnie;
great-grandchildren, Gavin, Sierra, Owen, Noah, Emily, Luke, Valerie and Stevie Mae;
brother, Raymond Diem;
and long-life friend, Jeanette Essler.
