METZ, Mary Jane – Of Fenton, age 92, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 12pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Mary Jane was born in Watkins, Minnesota on March 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Alfred and Irene (Schneider) Bohls.
She married Arthur Metz and was married for 63 years.
Surviving are daughter, Donna Metz;
Son-in-law, Ron Messinger;
Becky (Kasy) Anslow, Scott Messinger and Jeff Messinger;
And Sister, Virigina (Ginny) Driver;
Stepbrothers, Gerald (Linda) Scoville and Bruce Scoville;
Stepsister, Marilyn Scoville-Middleton;
Sister-in-law, Sandy Scoville and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Irene Bohls, husband Arthur Metz, daughter, Bonnie Messinger, brothers Richard (Annie) Bohls, Victor (Margo) Bohls and stepbrother Marvin Scoville.
