PETTEY, David Duane - Of Flint, age 61, died Sunday, September 21, 2025 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Private burial in Flint Memorial Park.
David was born in Flint, Michigan on May 12, 1964, the son of the late Harry and Dorothy (Bowen) Pettey. He was employed at Meijers Supermarket. David loved to hunt and fish. He also loved helping people.
Surviving are uncle, John “Jack” (Shirley) Bowen;
sister, Margietta Miller;
brother, Ralph (Melody) Phillip;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Marvin, Melvin and Harry “Bucky” Pettey.
