MILLER, Verle Dwight Jr. – of Flushing, age 88, died Thursday, January 15, 2026 at his residence. Honoring Verle’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made to the Montrose Family Worship Center.
Verle was born September 1, 1937 in Twinning, Michigan to the late Verle and Lucille (Leroux) Miller. He grew up in Twinning, Michigan and graduated from Arenac Eastern High School with the class of 1955. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was an Airborne Ranger. Verle served in the Navy. He married Linda McMillan and she preceded him in death. He then married Ethel Ringler on September 27, 2013. Prior to his retirement in 1996, Verle worked for GM as a Machinist. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club and AA. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and woodworking. Verle enjoyed fixing things and helping people.
Surviving are: Wife, Ethel Miller; Children, Tammy (Jim) Segl and family, Tally (Travis) Smith and family, Valerie (Ron) Weaver, Chad Miller; Step Daughters, Dawn (Rob) Shanafelt and family, Mary (Jeff) Bruff and family; Cousin, Tom (Carol) Norton and family; Sister in law, Ellen (Dave) Lalonde. He was preceded in death by his Parents; 1St Wife Linda Miller; Brothers, Dave Miller, Darryl Miller; Cousin, Judy Hollenbeck.
