COPELAND, Dennis - Age 61, of Burton, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettel officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-9 PM and Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association.
Dennis was born April 29, 1953 in Paragould, AR, the son of Irvan Ellis and Eula Madeen (Askins) Copeland. He married Sandra K. Maulden September 2, 1989 in Burton. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. Dennis had worked for Bob's Window Service.
Surviving are: wife, Sandra; son, Donnie (Karen) Spencer of Swartz Creek; daughter, Belinda (Adam) Fifield of Burton; grandchildren, Brittany, Kaylee, Thomas, and Ashlee "Rose"; sister, Doris Coffman of Flint; brothers, Frank of Arkansas, Ken (Sonja) of Ohio, Darrel (Debbie) of Swartz Creek, Owen (Shelia) of Flint, Ronnie (Donna) of Texas, Gary (Bill) of Arkansas, and Irvan of Arkansas; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
