TRAWEEK, Mathew Allen – Of Grand Blanc, age 30, died Friday, March 21, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident.
Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Connie Lundy officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family so a tree can be planted at For Mar Nature Preserve in memory of Mathew.
Visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mathew was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 28, 1983, the son of Dale and Nicky (Larson) Traweek.
He graduated from Lapeer West High School in 2001, and then received his Associates Degree from ITT Tech Institute in Flint.
On August 28, 2010 he married Susan Groat in Davison.
Surviving are wife, Susan;
mother, Nicky Highlen;
father, Dale Traweek;
sister, Tonya and husband Tom Drew;
niece, Jazmine;
nephew, Jaxon;
grandmother, Betty Traweek;
mother and father-in-law, Carol and David Groat;
sister-in-law, Mindy Groat;
brother-in-law, Kenny Groat;
many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by uncle, Chris Mattoon; grandparents, Albert Traweek, Jack Larson and Joan Mattoon.
