Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Medilodge of Howell. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Potts) England Sr., Marilyn was born October 26, 1926 in Delton, Michigan. She was married to Edward E. Flach. Marilyn was a former member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Flint. She was a current member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hartland. She also was former member of Senior Citizens Club in Flint, Flint Association of the Deaf and Tri-City Association of the Deaf and National Fraternal Society of the Deaf. She enjoyed crafts and knitting.
Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Connie Marie Johnson, Canton, Georgia; Dorothy Patricia and Michael Mulvahill, Howell, Michigan; two grandsons, Michael Sean (Amanda) Johnson, Kyle Christopher (Karen) Johnson, both of Woodstock, Georgia; four great-grandchildren, Parker, Emma, Kaitlyn and Asher; one brother, Harold England Jr. and his wife JoAnn; several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roger England and Robert England.
Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Thomas Dunseth will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Our Savior Lutheran Church of Hartland.
