TUBBS, Buddy Lee -- Age 68, of Burton, died January 19, 2019. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday January 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. visitation will be 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Friday with a 7PM VFW Memorial Service on Friday, and 1PM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Buddy Lee Tubbs Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes.
Buddy was born July 18, 1950 in Flint the son of George and Clovah Tubbs. He married Marcia Luxton in Burton on February 19, 1972. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the Burton VFW Post 822, and a member of the Honor Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Tubbs of Burton; 3 children, Buddy Tubbs Jr of Burton; Eric Tubbs of Burton; Jessica (Travis) Walker of Burton; 3 grandchildren, Cameron Walker, Jasmine Walker, Dakotah Walker; siblings, Ethel Davis, Leota ( Ray) Cook; Bobby Tubbs; several nieces and nephews.
