Shelia Jean Carpenter passed away peacefully February 17, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family and family pet Polly. Funeral service will be held 7:30 PM, Monday, February 23, 2026, at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland Street, Flint, Michigan. Family will receive visitors from 3:00 PM until after the service. Pastor Marvin Downs officiating. Shelia was born December 17, 1960, to our beloved mother Barbara Wagner in Little Rock, AK. She moved to Flint when she was 16 and attended local Flint Schools. She worked at Kmart and Roma’s in the Beecher district for a number of years. Shelia loved playing Pac-man, watching scary movies, bingo crafting and her beloved dog Kemo. She also loved time at Otter Lake Beach and the Lewi cutting Boat launch Columbiaville, MI. Shelia is survived by her sister Janella Wagner, brother Roger Wagner Jr., nieces Shakira Wagner, Erica Goodman, Hannah Rose, and her babies Bentley Miller and Lyric McAllester. Shelia was proceeded in death by her grandparents Charlie and Flora Adams, mother Barbara Wagner, stepfather Roger Wagner Sr, brother Doyle Butler Jr. Our family would like to thank the Residential Hospice team.
