ANDERSON, Norman Dean – of Davison, MI, age 87, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Shelly Long officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-2 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. A Memorial Service, under the auspices of the Welfare Masonic Temple #517, will be held 1 PM Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, in Norm’s memory.

Norm was born in Flint, MI on June 6, 1930, son of the late Chester and Loaree (Titus) Anderson. He married Virginia Bristol on June 24, 1950. Norm retired from GM as a Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of the Welfare Masonic Temple #517, a member of Richfield United Methodist Church, the Hobo’s Camping Club and the GMC Motorhome Club. For 30 years, Norm and Virginia enjoyed square dancing and traveled all over the United States. He loved eating ice cream and even made his own. Norm has a very large collection of toy John Deere tractors.

Norm is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Virginia; 3 children, Donald Anderson, Michael Anderson and Karen Savage; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter and his sister.
