COX, Elizabeth – Of Davison, age 87, died Monday, April 13, 2015
at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, Father Carl Simon officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to St. John Catholic Church in Davison.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Saturday, 12-3 and 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cox will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
Elizabeth was born in Flint, Michigan November 21, 1927, daughter of the late Ed and Laura Forcier.
On May 24, 1945 she married Allen Cox.
She was a former member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and currently a member of St. John's in Davison.
She loved crocheting and spending time with her family.
Surviving are children, Carolyn and husband Gary Choiniere,
Linda and husband Don Kramer,
Bethany and husband Ralph Mannor,
Christine and husband Jesus Garcia,
Maureen and husband Terry Shourd,
Anne and husband Lee Quinn,
Allen and wife Kristi Cox,
Marilyn and husband Thom Page and
David Cox;
26 grandchildren;
30 great-grandchildren, one on the way and
2 great-great-grandchildren.
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Cox; son, Matthew Cox; sister, Patricia Edwards and brother, Herb Forcier.
