DUBIE, Jeffrey Lawrence - age 56, of Swartz Creek, died peacefully September 2, 2018 at his best friend’s home in Swartz Creek surrounded by family. Services will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Jeffrey was born July 28, 1962 in Flint. He received an honorable discharge from the United States Army trained in Via Satellite and Micro Communications. He was a boxer in the Army and the Wells Boxing Club, his love for the sport matched his talent for boxing. He was a Local 80 and Local 7 journeyman sheet metal worker in the heating and cooling industry for many years. Jeff loved sports, especially the Detroit Lions and Tigers and University of Michigan. He will be forever missed by all who knew him. Surviving are: his ex-wife and love of his life, Joanne Dubie; his children, Katie Dubie (Steve Davis), Emily (Ryan) Brooks, and John Cody Dubie; his grandchildren and his reason for living, Lily Belle Mossman, Emma Grace Mossman, and Jaxon Dubie; his childhood best friends, Terry Kerry and Steve Alpaugh; brothers, Chuckie and Chris Dubie; parents, Ron Forbush, Charles (Kathy) Dubie and his 2nd mother, Ruby Boyce; He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Forbush; grandparents, Fred and Elmira Booth; father-in-law, Stan Boyce; and friend, Dave Couch.
