Nona A. Borgerding, of Flushing, age 92, died Monday, July 27, 2020 at Angel Manor. Cremation to take place. Interment 9:30 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Nona was born in Muskegon, Michigan on January 18, 1928 to Fred and Orpha (Lackie) Lederer. She married Richard John Borgerding in Muskegon, Michigan on August 22, 1947. She was a lifetime resident of Flushing, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She never met a stranger. She loved books, crossword puzzles, knitting, playing cards and entertaining. She was in heaven when she was on Whitefish Bay in Paradise, Michigan.
Nona is survived by her son, Daniel (Diane) Borgerding; and grandchildren, Danielle Borgerding and Nicholas Borgerding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Borgerding, Sr.; and children, Richard Borgerding, Jr. and Denise Borgerding. |
