MARSHALL, Sherry Lee of Clio, age 76, died Monday September 18, 2023 at McLaren Flint. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 22, 2023 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also from 10:00 AM until time of service on Friday morning at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
Sherry was born June 3, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to the late Russ and Marge (McCully) Kilburn. She grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1965. Sherry attended Eastern Michigan University and graduated from Baker College. On January 24, 1986 she married Don Marshall and he preceded her in death in 2018. Prior to her retirement, Sherry worked as an Accountant for the Boy Scouts of America with 25 years of service. She loved her job, her dog Sassy, her flowers and gardening. Sherry enjoyed being a part of her son’s farming operation.
Surviving are: sons, Shawn (Cori) Smith, Kirk Marshall; grandson, Steven Marshall; sister, Jackie Kilburn, Kim (Norm) Hammond; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russ (Marge) Kilburn; husband, Don Marshall; ex-husband, Doug Smith.
