Priscilla L. “Butch” Kenney, 47, of Aledo, IL. died Friday January 14,
2011 in her home. Cremation has been accorded and Services are 7:00 PM
Tuesday at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Private Burial is at a
later date. Visitation is from 4 – 7 PM Tuesday prior to services at
Fippingers where memorials may be left to a scholarship fund established

She was born February 26, 1963 in Rochelle, IL to Nelson and Mary
Stewart Christensen. She graduated from Rochelle Twsp. High School and
attended Cosmetology School in Rock Island. She married Paul B. Vargen
and later married Jerry L. Kenney February 2, 1993 in Aledo.
Priscilla was employed at Del Monte Foods in Rochelle and later Norcross
in Rock Island. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, decorating and “do it
yourself” projects.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry, 2 daughters, Britteny Kenney and
BreeAnna Kenney both at home, 1 son Blake Vargen of Rochelle, Il.,
paternal grandmother Doris McCaslin of Oregon, Il, 2 step-daughters,
Kristina (Ben) Carruthers of Rhode Island, Kourtney Grady of Colorado
Springs, CO, 3 step grandchildren, a sister Cheryl Schelm of Wisconsin,
a brother Mark Christensen of Rochelle and several nieces and nephews.
