DALTON, GLORIA – Of Swartz Creek, age 91, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her daughters.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at St. Mary’s Queen of Angels Church, 4413 South Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Father Robert Copland officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint and 10am Thursday at the church until the time of the mass.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a charity of one’s choice.
Gloria was born on October 29, 1934, in Stephenson, Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond and Anne (Haas) LeBeau.
She married Duane Dalton on September 5, 1953, in Flint.
Gloria enjoyed going to the casino and especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Dawn and husband Dan Panter, Kathy and husband Mike Giampetroni, Terri Dalton, Joy and husband Mike Rubel; grandchildren, Bret Panter, Shawn and husband Bret Miller, Tony and wife Maddie Giampetroni, Tim Giampetroni and special friend Beth, Todd and wife Rachel Giampetroni, Rachel Rubel, and Krista Rubel; great-grandchildren, Ben, Zac, Maisie, Sonia, Alex and Olivia; brother, Glen and wife Dawn LeBeau; sisters-in-law, Judy LeBeau and Irene LeBeau; special friend, Maggie Blewett; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Duane, grandson, Brian Panter, 3 brothers Kenneth, Dale and Allen LeBeau, father and mother-in-law Ray and Lucille Stoner; brothers-in-law Dick Dalton and Jack Hancook; sister-in-law Darlene Hancook.
The family would like to thank the staff at Regency Rehab and Absolute Hospice, especially Mollie and Rose, for all their care and support.
