SCHIEN, Theodore A. “Ted” - Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Brookdale of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 4pm November 1, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Visitation 2pm Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Chaplain Adam Doyle officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Ted was born in Flint on June 15, 1931 the son of the late Albert and Bertha Schien and was a resident of the Grand Blanc area since 1935. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School. Class of 1949. Ted's happiest moment was on November 9, 1957, when he married Beverly Hetherington. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2012. He was a production worker at Ford Motor Company. Mr. Schein was a big sports fan, mostly baseball. He liked to golf, fish, hunt, bike ride and bowl.
