CARPENTER, MARITTA SUE- Of Grand Blanc, age 89, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday October 21, 2025, and Visitation 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Maritta the daughter of Clarence and Madeline Oxford.
Maritta lived in Grand Blanc for over 60 years. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School. Robert and Maritta enjoyed traveling and going up north to the cottage every weekend.
She is survived by her daughter in law Susan Carpenter, grandchildren Reg Patrikus, Heather Lavrack and husband Maurice; great grandchildren Jacob Lavrack, Jacques Lavrack, Kalie LaFave and husband Jim.; great great grandchildren, Josie, Henry and Callaghan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, Son Richard Carpenter, siblings Gailon Oxford and Sharon Rouse.
