POSTON, Tonna L. – of Clio, age 74, died on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by family at Maple Woods Manor in Clio, Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Kim Christensen officiating. Honoring Tonna’s wishes, cremation will follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4PM until 8PM and Thursday from 11AM until the time of service at 2PM.
Tonna was born March 23, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Donald Ray Riley and Betty Jane Brogan. She grew up in Clio and attended Clio High School. For many years she worked at Zender’s Restaurant in Frankenmuth before beginning her career at General Motors where she later retired from the Lake Orion plant. Tonna was a loving and fun person to be around. She made an impact on many lives, creating cherished memories with so many people. Tonna enjoyed camping, but above all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren – her babies were the apple of her eye. She was an incredible woman who can never be replaced, and she will be dearly missed.
Surviving are Children: Tracey Johnson Fuller of Clio, Michigan, Lisa Johnson Millard of Fishers, Indiana, and Courtney Johnson Brown of Unionville, Virginia. 5 grandsons: Justin Fuller, Devin (Nicole) Fuller, Riley (Tracey) Fuller, Ryan (Lisa) Back, Mason (Courtney) Gordon; 3 Granddaughters Mariah (Lisa) Martinez, Madison Gordon, and Faith (Courtney) Gordon; Beloved Sister and best friend, Dava (Dennis) Matthews; Sister in Law, Vicki Fowler; 2 Great Grandsons: Devin JR and Christoper (Devin); 4 great Granddaughters: Eve (Ryan), Maliya (Mariah), Aariya and Haven (Courtney). Also surviving are many cousins she looked at like siblings and many nieces and nephews who she adored. Tonna was preceded in death by Father: Donald Ray Riley, Mother: Betty Jane Fowler (Brogan), Sister: Davalene Fowler; Brothers: David E.J. Fowler, Jimmy Fowler, and Elvin Fowler.
