CRANE, Laurence David – Of Swartz Creek, age 68, died Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at his residence.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Laurence David Crane was born in Flint, Michigan, on September 20, 1946, the son of Olger and Clella Crane. He lived in the Flint area his entire life.
Larry married Linda Baxter Herford on July 16, 1994 in Flint, Michigan.
He worked at AC Spark Plug as a groundskeeper for 32 years, retiring in 1998, and was a member of UAW Local #651.
Surviving him are his loving wife Linda;
children, April (Jason) Sellers and Devin Crane;
stepchildren, Tamara Liebl and Thomas Herford, Jr.;
grandchildren, Lindsey Podolski,
Ayden and Eliot (Ellie) Sellers,
Carter Liebl,
siblings, Lois (Deverne) York,
Duane (Marion) Crane,
Deanna (Dave) Harden,
Bob (Sandy) Crane,
Ruthann (Eugene) Vickerman,
Carol Horvath and Dan Crane;
mother-in-law, Erma Baxter;
sisters-in-law, Roberta (Gary) Hopkins, Janice Baxter, Betsy (Mark) Blondin, Donna Baxter, Nancy Baxter and special friend, Dennis;
several special nieces and nephews;
many close friends, including his TCT family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Maurice and Johnny.
