Timothy Duane Gilbert, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away on October 19, 2020 at 55 years of age.
Adored husband of Jennie for 32 years; cherished son of Gerald and Jeanette Gilbert and son-in-law of James (the late Mary) Tereau; dear brother of the late Jeffery (Sharon) Gilbert, Stephanie Elswick, Jeremy (Jenna) Gilbert, Amanda (Aaron) Broadworth, and Joshua Gilbert. Tim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Tim worked at JEOL USA for over 25 years. He enjoyed hiking, especially in the mountains, photography and his dogs, Sassy and Phantom. He was a loving and giving man.
The family will meet guests for a graveside committal service at Noon on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Flint Memorial Park, 9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be directed in Tim's memory to John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Research (www.jhu.edu)
In accordance with state and local mandates, visitors to the cemetery are asked to please wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing.
