RIFE, FANNIE L. “WEEZIE” – Of Flint, age 80, died peacefully on Friday, December 4, 2020, with loving family present at her residence.
Cremation has taken place.
Fannie was born on August 11, 1940 in Bradshaw, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret (Harmon) Collins.
On September 23, 1961 she married Arlen Rife in Clintwood, Virginia, and he passed in November, 2020.
She enjoyed going to the Casino and McDonald’s with her husband and friends.
She was a loving mother, wonderful cook, and was a jack-of-all trades, able to fix anything.
Surviving are daughter, Patricia Green;
adopted daughter, Cathy Carr;
siblings, Delores Reeves in Elkton, MD,
Clinton and wife Jean Collins in Man, WV,
Sam and wife Tressa Collins in Inwood, WV and
Mackie Davis in Greeneville TN;
sister-in-law, Imogene Collins in Johnson City, TN;
special family and friends near and far.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlen, on November 15, 2020 and son, Terry Arlen Rife; siblings, Dallas Collins in Johnson City, TN , Doris and husband Bob McCall in Johnson City, TN, Lyla and husband Frank Ray in Unicom, TN.
