GILLILAND, Linda Joyce - Age 61, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 19, 2018. No formal service will be held. Family will receive friends and family, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 2-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Linda was born May 9, 1957 in Detroit, the daughter of William and Mary Lou (Sturm) Krieg. She was a 1975 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. She had resided in the Fenton area for the past 49 years coming from Harper Woods. She married James Arthur Gilliland, Jr. July 29, 1978 in Burton. Linda retired from VG's Grocery in Fenton after 32 years of service. She enjoyed camping, vacationing, and most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving are: her husband, James; daughters, Holly and husband Jeff Watt of Troy and Jamie and husband Todd Clark of Oxford; grandchildren, Cameron, Chase, Hannah, and Avery; step parents, Loraine and Ken Moore of Okeechobee, FL; brothers, William and wife Terry Leaga of Livonia and William Krieg of Waterford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Robert Krieg; and sister, Diane Joswak. Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
