JEFFERY, Hubert Mason Jr. - Of Flint, age 94, died Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Rigel Dawson officiating.
Visitation will be held at 12pm on Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Hubert M. Jeffery, Jr. was born on September 16, 1931, in Mt. Olive, Arkansas, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Hubert M. Jeffery, Sr. Hubert graduated from high school in 1950, served his country in the U. S. Army from 1952-1954 and married his high school sweetheart Nancy Imogene Wiles on April 17, 1952.
When he moved to Michigan, he became employed with General Motors at the Metal Fab plant as an inspector where he retired from in 1993 after 31 years of service. Mr. Jeffery enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, wood working, the Detroit Tigers and his church, Bristol Road Church of Christ where he was an active member for 25 years.
Surviving are his 2 sons, Ronnie (Colleen), Roger (Pam), 2 daughters, Karen (Don) Phillips, Kathy (Bud) Hagar, daughter-in-law Mary Jeffery; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, one brother, Richard Jeffery.
He is predeceased by his parents, wife Nancy, 2 sisters and three brothers and son Larry.
