McCOMB, Timothy Allen – of Burton, MI, age 60, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 PM Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI, 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Interment in St. John Catholic Cemetery will take place following the Mass. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of the Mass on Thursday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Timothy McComb Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Tim was born in Flint, MI on August 10, 1960, son of the late Lawrence and Iris (Bergquist) McComb. He married Mary Jane Streit on June 11, 1983. Tim enjoyed camping, boating, cooking, euchre, coaching, watching sports and loved spending time with his family, especially his “buggies”. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Tim is survived by his wife, Mary “Janie” McComb; children, Jessica (Rocky) Gilbert, Courtney (Mario) Zamora, Nicholas (Caitlin) McComb and Ashley (Thomas McQueen) McComb; grandchildren, Braylyn, Jackson, Ellie, Grant, Brady, Mason and Baby Girl Zamora; brother, Tony (Pam) McComb and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Larry and Robert “Bobby” McComb; and father-in-law, Leon Streit.
