In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also loved riding motorcycles and participated in ice racing. One of his favorite activities was camping with his wife, Diane. Over the years they traveled to many campgrounds, making lasting friendships and many good memories.
Music was also an important part of Bruce’s life. He played the euphonium and trombone and was an active member of several local ensembles, including the Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Flint Concert Band, and the Genesee Wind Symphony. He was especially proud to have been part of the Flint Symphonic Wind Ensemble since its first season in 1966.
Bruce was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Diane Dunn. He is survived by his children, Stephanie Goodman and Michal Dunn; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
