SAVOIE, GARY JOSEPH - Of Flint, age 71, died Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Hurley Medical Center.
Private entombment New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on August 19, 1954, son of the late Romie and Reva (Logsdon) Savoie.
Gary graduated from Powers Catholic High School class of 1972. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from University of Michigan-Flint. Gary was a member of Toastmasters Club.
He enjoyed reading, art and drawing, and gardening. In his youth he was a bodybuilder. Gary was a huge sports fan, especially the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan football.
Gary was employed as a loan officer for Citizens Bank for many years.
Gary is survived by his sisters Karen and husband Robert Maniez and Sharon and husband Andrew Hill, sister-in-law Lenore Savoie, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Timothy.
